Virginia D. Maglio brings years of experience to the field of
learning and development. Her roles have included consultant,
instructional designer, facilitator of programs, as well as
manager of training projects. As consultant of Optimum Development,
she focuses on the development of skills at all levels of an
organization. Her approach is thorough and complete; an assessment
of needs is conducted to arrive at actual training requirements. The results are customized
learning solutions that are specific to the individual needs of each
client and consistent with their overall business goals.
Prior to founding Optimum Development, she served as Learning and
Development
Consultant at a major New England financial institution and an
Instructional Designer in the high tech industry.
Virginia is a facilitator and instructional designer for North
Shore Community College's Institute for Corporate Training &
Technology and the American Society for Training and Development in
New Hampshire. She is a consultant with EnVision Performance
Solutions as well as Corwin Learning Associates. She serves as a
facilitator of the Supervisory Curriculum for the Massachusetts
Council of Human Service Providers. Virginia is a long standing
member of the North Shore
Women in Business and served on its board for 5 years.
She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State
College and an M.S. in Training and Development from Lesley
University. |
